GO RED, SAVE GREEN!

September is Sickle Cell Awareness Month and we want YOUR help in turning Ontario RED!

So we’ve created a contest to make raising awareness FUN while giving you a chance to discover the great province of Ontario and be entered into a chance to WIN!

The Sickle Cell Association of Ontario has partnered with various cities and towns across Ontario in an attempt to raise awareness about Sickle Cell Disease, the world’s number 1 genetic disorder.

These cities and towns have agreed to light local monuments red on specific days, while also publicly acknowledging Sickle Cell Awareness Month.

Eligible contestants will be entered into a chance to WIN a pair of tickets to our annual I CHOOSE LIFE Fundraising Brunch (A $120 Value)

HOW TO WIN:

All YOU need to do to WIN is:

FOLLOW the SCAO on either Twitter, Facebook or Instagram.

SNAP a picture of yourself at ANY of the participating monuments (you must be in the picture for it to count)

POST it to your profile and finally

TAG us in your post!!

Along with getting a chance to WIN, you’ll be helping us raise awareness for the thousands of Canadians living with this disease. Don’t forget to use the #ONGoesRED hashtag when posting.

When you snap your picture with the monument lit RED, you are entered twice! Each monument snapped per account followed counts as a separate entry.

Your posts MUST be made in the month of September and ALL conditions must be met to qualify. The winner will be contacted via account used for submission.

So get out there, take pictures, have fun and be safe!
